As with the lock-step cohort degree plan, the master’s in accounting and analytics cohort (MS ACCT) class has a standard cost to you. See the tables below to learn the cost of your master’s in accounting as well as the additional cost if you choose to pursue the STEM master’s in business analytics cohort (MS BUAN) as well.

The tuition is nonrefundable.

Program tuition includes:

  • Registration for courses in degree plan
  • Materials for the U.S. CPA review course
  • One out of town professional development trip for two days (including travel, food and lodging)
  • Pre-Session team building and communication activities
  • Career coaching

Tuition does not include books, parking fees, housing and student health insurance.

Scholarships Available

Tuition scholarships are available to high-achieving students. All students admitted to the program are automatically considered for the program’s scholarship. Students admitted to the MS in Accounting Cohort program are not eligible for any other scholarships such as the Donor, Dean’s Excellence or Impact Scholarships.

Financial Aid Information

Federal Student Loans are available for a student who is a US citizen or eligible noncitizen; is registered with Selective Service (males) or prove exemption; and, is admitted as a regular degree-seeking graduate student. You must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply electronically at www.fafsa.gov. You must first apply for a Federal Student Aid identification number (FSA ID) at www.studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. The FSA ID is needed to sign your FAFSA electronically, correct any information after you get your FAFSA results, and access your financial aid history online. The UTD federal school code is 009741.

Private Educational Loans are available for a student who does not meet the Federal Student Loan requirements or who prefers to borrow from a private educational lender. There are several sources of private-based long term educational loans that are issued based on the credit-worthiness of the borrower. More information is available via the UTD Financial Aid Office website, including a list of some lenders.
