The Naveen Jindal School of Management offers students two different pathways to advance an accounting career through a STEM-designated (12-24 months) Master’s in Accounting and Analytics degree: the Master’s in Accounting and Analytics Flex or the Master’s in Accounting and Analytics Cohort. The Flex degree program offers multiple tracks, allowing students to select courses according to their professional goals. By comparison, the Cohort is designed with a predetermined course sequence and emphasis on preparation to sit for the U.S. CPA exam. Whether working full-time or balancing a full-time course load, you can obtain the degree that will advance your career.

Master of Science in Accounting and Analytics Flex (STEM)

The Flex Program allows students to complete their program on a full-time or part-time basis, entering the program in fall, spring or summer. The Flex Program also provides flexibility to choose courses that will advance your accounting career objective, whether your interest is in public or corporate accounting, assurance services, taxation, internal audit or accounting systems. Students can enrich their academic journey with engagement in professional networks, student organizations, competitions, mentoring and a full-service career center.

Master of Science in Accounting and Analytics Cohort (STEM)

The 16-month cohort program attracts students who are seeking to complete their entire program with a select group of students. The program is designed to capitalize on our students’ varied backgrounds (non-accounting and accounting) to advance their careers in public accounting. The program admits students each fall. They complete a 36-credit hour, lock-step program where coursework has been pre-selected by faculty.

I absolutely loved my time in the MS Accounting Cohort Program at UT Dallas!
